Welding Equipment and Tools: Introduction, welding instruction and training, personal protection, work site protection, welding fumes, copper and copper alloys, evaluation of welds, coated electrodes, wires for wire welding. Welding Processes and Techniques: Metal joining methods, comparison between welding and other metal joining methods, advantages of welding, classification of welding processes according to heat, types of electric welding, safety in manual metal arc welding, gas welding, weld defects & types, types of faults in gas welding.
